DCB Legal Ltd are one of the UK’s County Court super users, specialising in landlord and tenant, civil and commercial litigation and High Court enforcement disputes, and are one of the UK’s largest litigators.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor with experience of landlord and tenant matters with an emphasis on landlord work to join an award-winning, rapidly expanding organisation.

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, preferably with 2 years PQE or more, to join our litigation department based at our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire. This role would suit an individual who is looking to develop their career within a thriving business and be part of the next phase of business growth.

What you will be offered:

• Basic salary of £45,000 (depending on experience) with an OTE of £60,000
• Office hours, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
• Early finish on Fridays
• 30 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

Key Responsibilities

• To manage a mixed case load of commercial and residential possession and debt recovery cases
• To provide advice to clients in respect of property related queries
• To draft and review legal documents, including s8 notices, s21 notices, s146 notices and possession claims.
• To work with a diverse range of clients and providing effective legal solutions
• To attend court hearings where necessary

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years PQE
• Commercial experience and awareness
• Proactive and positive approach to work
• Attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload from various stakeholders
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
